It’s been busy here at Big Dog Stories HQ and I’ve had my head down getting book one sent to print… Yes, book one has officially gone to the printer and copies will be available at the end of May. Now that’s mental.
But that’s not the only reason for today’s blog. I have some exciting news and it’s on the other side of that easel…
April hasn’t just been spent endlessly proofing before sending book one to print, I’ve also been prepping my pitch for the semi-final of the RGU Startup Accelerator. Nothing like everything at once right?
16 businesses are taking part in this year’s programme but on Saturday, the cohort pitched to a panel of judges for a place at the final on Thursday May 16.
In a bid to stand out from the crowd, I took my easel, card and pens along to do a live drawing as part of my pitch.
There must have been some magic in those markers as I’ve made the final eight and could walk away with up to £5,000 of additional equity-free funding.
Keep all those crossables crossed for me and if you'd like to watch my pitch, tune into the live stream on Thursday from 6pm here.
